Great play with lightning here! I like it how the pumpkins fade away in the black background/shadows. Maybe it needs some more contrast.. other than that it's a good picture :nod:

This is probably the one I like best in your gallery. It shows you have an aptitude for composition - the lighting and the colours are gentle mellow and very earthy -and the subject matter reminiscent of those seventeenth century flemish painters, like Vermeer, Utrecht or Snyder. The bruising is exactly what makes the image, giving it a texture and a natural organic feel and an emotional impact that a picture of an unflawed fruit would lack.

Trust your instincts; and don't 'overcook' your colours - subtlety is a strength.
